Hi everyone and welcome back to Louboutin'd and Blonde! I spent this past weekend in Prague, Czech Republic and I was able to do some blogging while I was there. Prague is one of the most magical and fairytale-esque cities I have ever been too. The weather was beautiful which added to the already perfect setting. This look is very out of the box and is my best interpretation of Eastern European fashion. I hope you all enjoy!
As you can see, this outfit is very loud, which is the exact opposite of the European style of fashion that I have been wearing and blogging since I've moved to Italy. The fashion in Eastern Europe is drastically different than the fashion in any other part of Europe. Colors are bright and patterns are loud. Prague is one of the most up and coming fashion cities in the world at the moment. The city has been making a name for itself in the fashion industry over the past few years. Prague has been a host city for fashion shows and collection viewings for the past 2 years and its popularity is growing. While I was visiting this up and coming fashion capital I wanted to immerse myself in their culture and of course their fashion as much as I could. This outfit is what I chose and even though it is out of the box, I felt amazing and confident in it.
My outfit consists of emerald green pants from H&M, a white blouse from Forever 21, a multicolored sweatshirt from Givenchy, black booties from Aldo, and a gold chain necklace from Francesca's.
The statement piece of this outfit is clearly my sweatshirt. This sweatshirt was actually a gift that my brother received which he then passed on to me (have you noticed that menswear is my weakness) (Thanks Christian for the hand me down and for having impeccable taste to pick this sweatshirt out!!) Givenchy is a designer that is known for his wild and outlandish couture clothing. This sweatshirt is no different. The house of Givenchy is a French brand which is why the Eiffel Tower is the main focal point of the sweatshirt. Since the sweatshirt is extremely colorful and is a statement piece on its own, I wanted to add an element that would tone down the loudness. I decided to layer the sweatshirt over a button down white shirt. I layered the two shirts because I wanted another element in the outfit besides just the sweatshirt. The touch of white that the collar gives allows the eyes to focus on something else other than the sweatshirt as a whole. The sweatshirt standing alone would be too busy and look out of place for normal every day wear. Adding the white collar cleans up the look and makes the colors and the pattern of the sweatshirt more practical.

(How spectacular is that view...)
I chose to wear these emerald green pants with this look to bring all of these colors together. I chose a color that was visible but not overpowering in the sweatshirt. Tying the pants to the sweatshirt was key in order to make this look wearable and practical. I kept the color of the pants dark in order to keep the sweatshirt as the shining star in the look. Black pants or even jeans would have worked with this look as well. However in keeping with my daring outfit I decided to go all in with this look and I chose a color. When in Prague, do as the...Czech?
I paired my favorite black booties with this look in order to elongate my legs as much as I could. I like to wear shoes with a bit of a heel when I wear tight pants or jeans to make my legs look thinner and longer. I topped off this look with a chunky gold chain necklace. I wanted to keep the accessories extremely simple with this look. However, I wanted to make sure that my collar was noticed so I added this necklace for a bit of shimmer to catch the eye even more and drawn attention to the neckline.

I had so much fun doing this post! I was able to shoot this post at the top of Prague Castle, which over looked the entire city. I hope you all enjoyed taking this color plunge with me and I'll be back very soon to talk more fashion with you all! Ciao!
