Hi everyone, welcome back! Fashion month is over and the trends for the season are set! One of my favorite trends that took over the runway was the 70's. This look is fully inspired from a bunch of my favorite shows throughout fashion month. The 70's were all about embracing new looks and trying different things. Denim and shearling were all the rage, as they are again now! I hope you like how I do the 70's, give or take 50 years later. (I'm also debuting my short hair cut that I am obsessed with and I plan on chopping the rest off at Easter time!!)

The 70's are back people!! I picked up this dress a few months back and have been wearing it constantly. I've loved using denim in my outfits lately. I don't typically wear dresses, but I have worn this dress over a pair of blue jeans and black jeans, but I love how the dress stands out in this look too. Pairing the dress with socks and heels is also something that was seen on multiple runways this past month. I have been wanting to try this sock and heel combo since the middle of fashion month and I was finally able to try it with this outfit. I also think this combination is perfect for the weather right now too as it is a cute alternative to tights.
Shearling jackets were the biggest trend on the runways. Almost every designer showed their take on the updated shearling coat. My jacket is clearly not shearling on the outside like the traditional ones, however it is lined on the inside. This jacket screams modern 70's to me and I absolutely love it. I also loved how the length of the jacket and the dress added a bit of dimension to the look and gave me a shape.
This look is by far one of my favorites. I have a feeling I will be loving the 70's for a little while longer! Who knows, maybe I'll even dive into the back of my closet and find my old bell bottoms... but we won't get ahead of ourselves.
Simply,
Jacquelyn
