Hello my people! I hope you all are having a great weekend and enjoying this Fall weather!! Today's post is all about a trend that is very popular right now and will be for the fall and winter, which is sneakers! Wearing sneakers with ready to wear outfits was a big trend on the runways during Fashion Week. This is my take on this trend that I personally am loving lately! I hope you all enjoy!
I was given the opportunity to work two runway shows during Fashion Week and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I met some of my idols in the fashion industry and was able to see the behind the scenes dedication each designer has for their collection. The atmosphere was incredible and made me so eager to continue my journey in this industry. I decided that for this post I wanted to make a pit stop in-between my day of shopping and go back to the heart of New York Fashion Week, which is Lincoln Center.
Today I decided to wear a comfortable outfit that would be good for a full day of shopping and exploring the city with Michael. I decided to pair this shear 'WHATEVER' blouse from Forever 21 with grey, plaid envelope shorts from H&M. Envelope shorts are very flattering on my body and I love that they are simple yet can make an outfit a bit dressier with the skirt look in the front. I also decided to wear these shorts because I am not quite ready to accept the colder weather, so I'm hanging onto summer as long as I can.
I don't typically like shirts with saying on them or "graphic tees", however this shirt is very much 'me' and I had to get it. I like the shearness of it, which gives an edgy look. The WHATEVER part is also leather which I think adds a cool affect.

I then paired my outfit with my black and white Nike Roshe sneakers. These sneakers are easily the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. I wear them to the gym, with sweats, and with every day outfits. I highly recommend them if you are on the hunt for good sneakers. They are so versitile and definitely have become a staple in my closet. I added mid calf white socks to add a little something extra as well. Wearing sneakers with ready to wear outfits is a huge trend that began this summer and is being carried into this fall and winter. Sneakers of all types were walking up and down the runway this season, so look out for them on the street this upcoming season. Comfort is making a come back people!!
I also brought my Celine mini luggage purse in cobalt with me to add a little color to my look! It also happens that this bag can carry just about anything and is great for when I go shopping!
One weird photo also seems to slip into the shoot. So this is the weirdo of the week! I love throwing on a beanie with fall outfits to add a bit of edge and they're always nice to have for a bad hair day too!! My beanie is from Dimepiece.com if you are interested in some cute ones.
I hope you guys liked this post! I am sad to let go of the warm weather but I am definitely ready for fall fashion in its full effect. I look forward to being back next Sunday! Have a great week and until next time!

Jacquelyn
